I’ve been fortunate to attend leadership programs at McGill, Western, University of Alberta, and Harvard (twice), and have applied what I’ve learned to give back to my community through volunteering. This effort earned me The Governor General of Canada Award for Leadership—a recognition I’m deeply proud of.

I have enjoyed an ongoing journey in my career in high-tech sales that started in the mid-80’s. As the industry has evolved, I’ve personally ridden the wave of change alongside my clients which has taught me a few lessons about what’s important. Establishing long standing business relationships that foster trust and confidence is a key element to everyone’s success.

My experience has included roles with local boutique consulting firms to sales leadership and strategic account management with large global companies such as Salesforce, IBM, HP and Cisco. I have worked extensively with clients in the oil and gas sector in addition to telco, agriculture, utilities and transportation industries.

I have a passion for mentoring and coaching sales professionals with the goal of maximizing both their personal development and professional skills in creating new business growth and revenue. From a business development perspective, I have extensive expertise in building strategic partnerships and leading competitive sales campaigns specific to professional consulting, software and technology services.

Completing a degree in Integrated Sciences with specializations in Data Science, Computer Science, and Microbiology at University of British Columbia. I also serve as the Vice President of Marketing for UBC’s Women in Data Science Club, where I lead initiatives to promote and organize events that support women and underrepresented minorities in the tech industry.

In addition to my academic and leadership roles, I am currently a Research Data Management Intern with the Digital Solutions team at UBC’s Faculty of Medicine. This position has provided me with valuable insight into the clinical research data lifecycle, from data collection to processing and visualization.
